"PHOTOGRAPHY IS NOT JUST AN ART OF SEEING - IT'S AN ART OF THINKING"
THE INDIVIDUAL PERSONALITY
I care deeply about more than just capturing someone’s outward appearance in the perfect light – it’s the unique spirit that truly matters to me. That inner spark, which often flickers through in those unplanned in-between moments. For me, these fleeting glimpses are what bring a portrait to life.
Since August 2013, I’ve been pursuing photography as a self-taught passion – with heart, enthusiasm, and a constant urge to express my creative side. People, landscapes, moments: I strive to make all of them visible in my images.
Photography is not my profession – simply because I lack the time. And honestly, I’m not sure the current "Zeitgeist" makes it easy to make a living from it.
What does the future hold? Who knows! Maybe in ten years – when I retire – I’ll open a small, charming photo studio. Perhaps then, with a business license, plenty of time, and the freedom to explore the world a little more.
MY TOOLS
I currently shoot with the Fujifilm X-H1 and the Fujinon XF90 – a combination I truly enjoy, especially for people photography. Other lenses in my camera bag include the XF18-55 and the XF55-200.
IMAGE EDITING / RETOUCHING
Less is more – that’s my motto when it comes to post-processing. I focus on subtle, natural-looking retouching: softening minor skin imperfections, brightening the eyes, or a gentle touch of teeth whitening. Authenticity always comes first.
